Using whats available for a workout

So today I was spending some time at home and I was looking for some weights to do a quick circuit workout. Well, my son probably didn’t know I was going to put him to work so soon after his birth. Today was Owen’s first home workout. Overall, it is his third. He has already been to the gym twice! But I put him in the Baby Bjorn and did a leg circuit with squats and lunges. Remember, 2009 is the year that no excuses can be used. If you have something to do…GET IT DONE!

It’s all about getting better

This morning I was reading an article in the Boston Globe. After winning their 19th straight game last night, the Celtics improved their record to 27-2. I think what was said perfectly were some quotes by Kevin Garnett.
“I don’t think you understand how we see it,” Kevin Garnett said. “We’re not downplaying anything, we’re just being totally honest with you. Unless you win it all, it’s pretty much just steam in the air – you see it and then it evaporates…, at this point, it’s all about getting better.”
They have just won 19 in a row and he wants to get better. I love that!
