>The Second Annual Boston Hockey Summit and Basketball Symposium

>

Recently I was reading an article by Art Horne.  Art is the strength and conditioning coach and athletic trainer for the men’s basketball team at Northeastern University.  The title of the post was “Seeing the world through the hole in a 45 lb plate.”  I feel that people sometimes get caught up and fail to open their eyes wider to see the big picture.  This can affect your ability to learn.  Do not be afraid to learn more.  As my friend Michael Boyle says, “Do not believe everything you read and do not just read everything you believe.”
Coming in May, the Boston Sports Medicine and Performance Group is putting together a summit for hockey and basketball.  It is an excellent oppurtunity for everyone in our field of strength and conditioning and performance enhancement to come together to share ideas and learn from a great list of presenters.  What better way to try and shatter your 45 pound plate and create a bigger hole to see through.
